Q: What is self-hosting, do I need it, and how much does it cost?
WordPress requires a third-party host to store your files and space for your website within the world wide web; think of it as leasing space on the internet. You will be responsible for this small extra cost to have your website up and live.
Choosing the right host is crucial to the speed, security, and overall success of your website. We highly recommend SiteGround. They offer WordPress specific hosting, extraordinary customer support, and budget-friendly pricing. We will walk through this together.
Q: What does my investment include?

Q: How much will my website cost?
Every project is different and will be quoted specifically based on your site needs. The costs presented within each package (listed below) will give you an idea of what you can expect your project to start at. The full scope of your project will be laid out clearly in our detailed project proposal so there are no surprises, hiccups or misunderstandings along the way.
Most projects fall in the $2-6K range for development and design.
Q: What kind of maintenance and support is included with my website?
Creative Design Production offers full support and maintenance for any website we create! The best way to ensure your new site is backed up, up-to-date, and malware-free is to enroll in one of our Monthly Maintenance & Support Plans. We also offer site maintenance and revision services on an as-needed basis for all of our clients.
Q: What is your project payment structure?
- 50% due at booking

Q: Do you guarantee your projected timelines?
4-8 weeks is our typical project length for development and/or design, but there are always exceptions to the rule with factors like:
- A very large or complex website
- Failure to provide us with the necessary content, etc.
- Design delays or change in project scope (i.e. adding more pages or making major design changes)
- Lack of communication and/or feedback.
- Failure to pay an invoice on time
Q: What is the demo site review process like?
This is a chance for you to review and access your site as if it were live. You get to click around, and test the functionality, provide feedback and ask questions.
We are perfectionists and understand that something being “a little off to the left” can be a major eyesore. We will work out the kinks as minor tweaks are expected and will be honored during this Review and Refinement process.
If design changes create a greate scope of work, they will need to be quoted and re-develop/design accordingly.
Q: What are your design limitations?
We don’t prefer to put limitations on what we could do and potentionally do. WordPress is a powerful platform so if you can dream it up, we can likely bring it to life. If you’re ever unsure of the capabilities of WordPress while designing, never hesitate to reach out to us; we will talk through the possibilities and options, and see what’s the best fit for you. We love pushing the envelope and trying new things!
Q: Is content entry included?
To an extent, yes! You are responsible for providing us with ALL necessary and related content for your website and we will put everything together for you; this includes but is not limited to your images, written content, legal information, starting blog posts, product image and descriptions, etc.
Content writing and stock images are not included, but may be added for an additional cost; see more detail here.
Q: What if I need to make content changes to my site after it's launched?
Don’t freak out! Our websites are built to be completely user-friendly and intuitive without you needing any coding experience whatsoever. It will be fairly simple for you to make your own changes. We provide you with a personalized training to make the content management extremely easy.
If you find yourself needing more detailed changes or additions in the future, we offer monthly maintenance and support and hourly support services to all of our clients.
We are also never too far away to continue our support, so reach out to us anytime!

If our values align and you’re ready to move forward, we will send you a customized proposal with your full project specs, contract, invoice, overview of the payment plan, and how to pay the deposit. Discovery period: client folder & Homework
Keep your eye out for a dedicated client folder! It will include our service guide, design process, business worksheets, and a little homework to work on. We will also receive an invitation to Notion to keep our project organized.

Through collaboration and completion of your client packet, we will develop your project specifics and present it for approval. This ensures we’re on the same page before we dive deep into developing and designing your website.

Design + Review
via Demo Site
We begin developing your custom theme via a demo site on our private server to ensure your current site goes uninterrupted. The project continues through designing before it’s presented to you for review and refinement. You will get a chance to click around the site as if it were live to test the functionality on different browsers, provide feedback, ask questions, and prep the site for installation.

Launch it!
Installation + Launch
Once the demo site has been finalized, you will get to schedule a date for an installation that works best for the both of us. Your final payment is due prior to our meeting.
During the installation, we will put up a simple “coming soon” landing page on your site so your audience can still find you! When the installation is complete, we meet one last time for a final walkthrough and training on how to use and make changes to your new website. You will be well equipped with the necessary tools to advance forward.
